This has to be one of the most enjoyable videos that I have produced on the channel! Pocket Drums by Aeroband are unique intuitive bluetooth enabled drum sticks that allow you to play and practice the drums on your iPhone virtually anywhere.
The Pocket Drum app comes with various modes including free form and levels mode that provides a unique learning and practice environment. It kind or reminds me of guitar hero but for drums. The other great thing about the Pocket Drum is that you can get it to connect to Garage Band so for musicians looking to integrate real world drumming into their compositions or add an exciting element to a live performance these are ideal.
They look and feel great too, with a highly rugged rubberised plastic construction and flashing LED lights.
Aeroband sent me the Pocket Drum and two Pocket Guitars to test out. The Pocket Guitars can be used as additional sensors that you place on your shoes to activate the kick drum and high hat too, making for an even more realistic simulation of playing an actual drum kit.
